Every time I speak with a friend or acquaintance and they tell me they are busier than a one-armed paper hanger (my Dad’s saying), I ask the same question; “Are you winning?”
It is met every time with a confused look. “What do you mean?” they ask.
Here’s another way to ask the same question: “If you are dedicating your life to being busy, what results are you seeking?”
Being busy without fulfilling the vision you have for your life seems unrewarding. Your vision is a series of images in your mind that showcase the ideal life you seek to live based on the dreams in your heart. This includes your family, career, health, spiritual life and other areas.
The irony is that being busy without intention can lead to a feeling of lack in the most important areas of your life.
My job is to help people answer the question, are you winning? Do you care to tap into your life’s purpose and bring to the surface those amazing dreams only you possess?
